On 1 October 2026, the Lithuanian Prediction Markets Institute (LPMI) will attend the Global Prediction Markets Forum in Lisbon, Portugal.
The one-day event will take place at the Myriad hotel and bring together prediction market builders, operators, regulation and legal specialists, and other professionals in the field.
The forum will discuss the development of prediction markets, their relationship with sports betting, regulatory questions and opportunities in different countries. For LPMI it will be an opportunity to hear a range of perspectives from the international community and build relationships with people working in this field.
We want to bring a Lithuanian and Baltic perspective into these conversations: how prediction markets could help better understand public expectations, how they can complement surveys, and what conditions are needed for responsible development of this field.
We are building LPMI as a space for the conversation about prediction markets in Lithuania. In Lisbon, we want to learn from the experience of other countries, meet people working in this field and share what we see in the Baltic region.
If you are also attending the forum and would like to talk about prediction markets or potential collaboration, get in touch with LPMI. After the event, we will share the key insights.
